Who are we looking for?
We’re picturing the two winners as individuals who are passionate about being a Gamecock, people who brag to their Clemson friends about how great USC is, people who bleed garnet and black, those who well remember dressing up to attend a football game and still do, folks who would love the chance to be part of everything Carolina and spread the news to all alumni as a representative of graduates of the last decade... Tell us why and how you are the person we’re looking for!

What is the role of the two winners?
Attend University events like games, donor receptions, groundbreakings, tours, and other great gatherings where you’ll represent all graduates of the last decade. You’ll be photographed here and there and see yourself in the Carolinian, on postcards and online (we want all the other grads of the last decade to see what their favorites are up to) as the Face of Y’ALL. We’ll ask your opinion about young alumni initiatives, programming, messaging. . . we care about what our grads of the last decade have to say!

When is the deadline to submit an application?
All applications should be submitted no later than July 1st. The Top 5 will be announced in mid July and young alumni will vote for their favorite from mid July to mid August. Keep checking www.thefaceofyall.com for new campaign information!

Why would I want to be the Face of Y’ALL?
Who wouldn’t?! Look, this is your chance for fame (well, sort of)! The two people with the most votes will have the opportunity to represent their peers and the entire University in this first of its kind campaign. You’ll be celebrated, honored, asked for opinions relating to University endeavors, cheering at games, attending groundbreakings, talking with other young alumni, gaining professional knowledge and more during your time as the Face of Y’ALL.

How are the two winners chosen?
A group of select young alumni will sort through all the applications and pick the five we think best embody what it means to be the Face of Y’ALL for one year. We’ll then ask the final five to submit their own video depicting why they should be the Face of Y’ALL. From there, all young alumni will vote on the one person they think will best represent them. The two grads of the last decade with the most votes will be named the winners in August.

Who’s my competition?
Well, there are over 38,000 graduates of the last decade... and people do like to talk about themselves. Let’s just say we’re expecting lots of applications for the campaign! Make yours original and prove how much you love the University of South Carolina!

How much time is involved if I’m the Face of Y’ALL?
Trust us, as young alumni we know how crazy life can be! We’re talking only a couple hours a month and everything is at your convenience. The two winners will be virtually invited to tons of cool University events where they’ll have the chance to meet other great alumni, network, chat about the future of Carolina, cheer for the Gamecocks and more! We’ll want you to attend as many things as you’re able but we understand that young alumni are busy folks!
